Winzavod is five minutes away from the metro

Take the exit to local trains. Then turn right and walk along commuter trains, turn left and go under the railway bridge to 4th Syromyatnichesky lane and then turn left to Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art.

From the Garden ring through Verkhnyaya Syromyatnicheskaya street or from the Yauza river embankment through Syromyatnichesky lane.

Paid city parking can be found around Winzavod (number 3207), costing 60 roubles per hour.

Parking on Winzavod’s territory is available only to its residents.

The history of Winzavod begins in the XVIII century, when on the territory of the modern art cluster was the estate of Princess Volkonskaya. What name did the brewery get? What is the difference between the Red Shop and the White Shop? How were the offices of the winery arranged and what does modern landscape have to do with it? These and many other questions you can answer after the excursion Journey into the history of the Winery.

Get acquainted with the past, present and future of contemporary art in Russia. At excursion you will learn about the first commercial exhibitions and the auction, will glance in galleries, will solve secret meanings of work on the Wall. Are you worried that you do not know about contemporary art? Don't worry: the guides of Winzavod will guide you through the stages of development of contemporary art in Russia, explain unclear terms and tell you about the main players of the art market on a clear and professional level.

Important to know

We kindly ask you to read the conditions of your visit and keep this information in mind when planning your trip to Winzavod.

Entry to exhibitions ends at 19:30.

It is forbidden to enter exhibitions with food or drinks.

You can take photos and video everywhere in Winzavod while not using professional equipment. To receive a permission to shoot, using professional equipment, please turn to the press service department at least one day in advance.

It is very important for us to make visiting Winzavod comfortable for all and first of all to disabled people.

Winzavod center of contemporary art is located in 19th century buildings and is a registered monument. Unfortunately, this imperils our ability to refurbish all entries and exhibition spaces in order to make them accessible to disabled people.
