Baza Institute

The Baza Institute was established in 2011 and stands as an educational program and an experimental research site. The head of the program is Anatoly Osmolovsky. The Baza Institute aimed for people who are planning to link their professional career with contemporary art.


The primary goal of the Baza Institute is to foster credible professionals and integrate them into the art industry.


The training program is built on a specialised course basis together with practical workshops, forming a prime theory core. The further educational program is shaped, taking into account students' current interests.


The program of the theory core is uniform for both, art critics and contemporary artist. A specialisation of each student reveals itself during seminars, practical tasks and workshops.


One of the main features of the institute is regular internal exhibitions with discussions.
