VLADEY is Russia's first auction house of contemporary Russian art. Found in 2013 by the leading expert in the art market, Vladimir Ovcharenko.
For five years of its existence, VLADEY has won prestige amongst artists and collectors, and has opened new opportunities for the development of Russian art.
Twice a year in autumn and spring VLADEY organises evening trades. At Curators Bidding, an expert is invited to sel ect works for an auction. Unique trading "ALL for 100" is another one (starting price for all lots €100), which became a new trend in the world auction practice. VLADEY broadcasts its auctions live, where buyers have an opportunity to place bids online from any part of the world.
The average percentage of sales at VLADEY trades is 75%, which considered as a very high achievement amongst the world targets. In the period fr om 2013 until 2017, VLADEY auction house sold more than 1000 artworks of Russian artists.
In 2016, VLADEY opened its exhibition space called VLADEY Space and launched the ARTIST OF THE WEEK program, which allows popularising both specific authors and their works, as well as contemporary art in Russia as a whole.
Russian businessman, collector, founder of the gallery REGINA and platform for the promotion of contemporary art VLADEY, one of the creators of the contemporary art fair COSMOSCOW. In 1985 he graduated from the Moscow Financial Institute. In 1990 he founded the gallery REGINA - one of the first private Russian galleries of contemporary art. In December 2010, he became one of the main organizers of the first and only international contemporary art fair COSMOSCOW. In April 2010, he decided on foreign expansion - the "Les Miserables" exhibition by Semyon Faibisovich in London opened REGINA GALLERY. In May 2013, he founded the auction VLADEY - the first auction in Russia of contemporary Russian art. For 4 years of activity, 21 auctions were held, the total revenue of which amounted to more than 10.1 million euros.
