HSE ART GALLERY is a gallery of contemporary art at the School of Design of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, a place for experimentation and exchange of experience.
The mission of the gallery is to promote and support young artists - students of different areas of the School of Design on the basis of a fully staffed platform focused on quality projects in the field of contemporary culture.
Here are presented the works of actual contemporary artists and student projects. The gallery team engages both the School's teachers and independent curators, as well as representatives of Moscow's leading cultural institutions to organize exhibitions.
This is the gallery's second exhibition space, the first one - on Malaya Pionerskaya - was opened in 2018. After 5 years, the gallery has reached a new stage, opening HSE ART GALLERY on the territory of CSI Vinzavod, one of the largest private centers of contemporary art in Russia. The gallery's mission remains to support young artists, but on a new scale. The new gallery space at the Winzavod Central Exhibition Center is oriented towards large group exhibitions, which will allow more artists to find their audience.
