The fifth season of Winzavod's Open Studios will start on June 17.

The opening will take place in online format with live broadcasting on the resources of the CCA and a tour of the curator Andrey Parshikov.

Please note that the planned opening may be postponed depending on official reports of the Moscow City Government on the quarantine situation. Follow our news in social networks and mailing lists. 

Open studios are expanding the program: in addition to the traditional areas "Workshops" and "Pop-up" there will be a project "Open studios +". This is an experimental format that will allow artists to attend lectures, conduct master classes, participate in special events and vernissages, and create works conceived as part of the project in the space of the workshops. 

Sofia Trotsenko, the founder of the Centre for Contemporary Art at Winzavod, talks about the concept of the fifth season:

"This year at the open call we received a lot of good applications. But since the number of seats in the program is limited, not all artists were able to enter the main composition of the Open Studios. So we decided to try to expand the project in an experimental format and allow more artists to become part of it. As a result, 14 artists got a place in the project. Under the circumstances, of course, this is a challenge, but we hope that it will fully justify itself, and soon we will see the results of this great work".

According to Andrey Parshikov, tutor of Open Studios, this season there will be even more acquaintances with artists, informal talks with representatives of professional environment, presentations, visits to exhibitions and vernissages, shows and tracking the progress of works created in Open Studios, and of course, art.

LIST OF PARTICIPANTS OF THE XII FAIR OF NEW NAMES OF WIN-WIN
112  artists will present their work at the 12th WIN-WIN spring fair of new names.

Since 2021, the Center for Contemporary Art Winzavod has been implementing the WIN-WIN project, which was launched as a contemporary art market within the Art Market program. Since its inception, the project has received over 600 applications for each open call. The market has presented over 1,000 artists, creative communities, galleries, and associations, and launched the careers of over 500 new artists.

The fair will maintain one of the project's key principles: representing at least 50% of the artists who have not previously participated. This rule allows the professional community to sel ect relevant names twice a year.

The fair's open call received over 930 applications.
