The International Creative Industries Forum ART-WERK 2019 will take place at the Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art on 22 and 23 November.

The forum will be held in Russia for the third time and will become a communication platform for the exchange of experience between city administrations, creative entrepreneurs and representatives of other creative professions. The Forum is organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Russia with the participation of the Winzavod Fund for the Support of Contemporary Art and the Goethe Institute in Moscow.
 
In 2019, ART-WERK will expand its agenda and reach the international level. Representatives of Russia, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Slovakia, Nigeria, Turkey, Estonia, Ukraine and other countries will share their experience in the development of creative industries at the forum.
 
The key topic of ART-WERK forum in 2019 is creative industries as a factor of sustainable development. Invited experts will discuss the social impact of creative industries and their importance in the development of infrastructure in the regions.
  
More than 30 events of various formats are planned in the program: panel discussions, round tables, presentations and workshops. More than 100 international speakers will take part in the forum - leading experts, entrepreneurs, government officials and researchers.

Key events of the forum:

November 22:
  1. Panel discussion "Responsible approach. Creative business and the sustainable development agenda" (Partner: Moscow Urban Forum);
  2. Panel discussion "Access to money. What financial instruments are available to creative entrepreneurs?  (Partner of the session: Moscow Urban Forum);
  3. Panel discussion "Sustainable architecture fr om A to Z: a sustainable approach from the first steps in education to a tender for a large landscape project" (session partners: Urban Institute and eco-architectural park PERMAPARK);
  4. Case Study "Business Education in Creative Industries. How do creative incubators work?
  5. The culmination of the evening program of the forum will be "Creative talks", wh ere Russian and foreign speakers in the format of TED present the best practices in the field of creative industries and their implementation in their countries.

November 23:
  1. Panel discussion "Blogger vs media holding. Who is the future of the media business in the age of Youtube and Telegram channels?
  2. Panel discussion "Sustainable Fashion. How to reduce the negative impact of clothing on the environment and society? (Partner: ECOCUP);
  3. Panel discussion "Eco-Docking Evolution. How the Eco-Doc is trying to save the planet" (Partner of the session: ECOCUP);
  4. Panel discussion "Culture of participation. How, using participatory design tools, to create meaningful projects and places for people? (Session Partner: Project Office 8);
  5. Panel Discussion: "Out of the Night: How is the Music Industry Transforming Today?
Experts will also talk about modern education for creative entrepreneurs, digitalization and the computer games industry.
  
Traditionally, the forum will feature the ART-WERK 2019 startup exhibition.
