The works presented at the exhibition are completely different, but in each of them the artists have invested their attitude to various kinds of phenomena, problems, situations of contemporary reality.
The works of the art sect Simple Things are sometimes similar to children's toys and attract with their brightness and expressiveness, although often they are very social and devoted to far fr om iridescent topics. For a spectacular way is always a difficult question of relationships with the outside world. Patterns exist, any person is a tiny part of nature, obliged to know their place. No matter how punk he imagines himself, no matter how hard he tries to break the system and rush away from reality, in fact he stands still without noticing it, because no matter what corner of the earth he leaves, he will find the same thing there. In virtual life, he can be a real king, but, sooner or later, he will have to return to reality, wh ere his willing crown from Burger King can be tried on by anyone. He is inside the system - in the mouth of a huge monster, ready to slam it at any moment. One way or another, one end awaits him - he will become only a fertilizer that will give life to new sprouts. Using the language of pop art artists, shifted to modern realities, the art sect Simple Things in a colorful game manner reveals trembling social problems. Emoji, brands, signs, images, text merge into expressive works, extraordinary characters who try to describe the trends of the modern world, missed through the perception of artists. The conclusion, however, is not comforting - a person cannot escape from the system. No matter how hard he tries, she still shoo him under her. The exhibition Landscape Escape offers an ironic way of coexistence with reality.
