Electronic Narratives: What Algorithms Tell Us
The HSE School of Art and Design gallery is hosting the exhibition "Electronarities: What Algorithms Tell"—a project exploring the transformation of storytelling in the post-digital era.
The exhibition features multimedia installations, video art, computer games, video installations, and paintings by students and faculty of the School of Art and Design, as well as invited artists.
The project's curatorial concept is based on the observation that storytelling is no longer a purely human function. This practice is evolving into an interaction between algorithms, interfaces, and network structures, in which the processes of generation, selection, and distribution are increasingly automated and shifting to digital systems.
The works presented in the exhibition demonstrate how contemporary stories are assembled from data streams, screen images, and interface interactions, as well as how the digital environment is transforming human experience and everyday life scenarios.
