The project includes 20 works written in pencil on paper or canvas, sometimes including acrylic paints. These are mainly smartphones, which differ in wallpaper. What is our life? - Smartphone! The face of a modern man for hours, minutes, years is turned to the phone screen. At the same time, the smartphone itself observes its owner ("Eyes of the house"), quickly recognizes his interests, his main routes of movement and even becomes a interlocutor with a voice, for example, Alice.

Timofey Smirnov built his project as a dialogue between a person and his smartphone.

"My phone rang, who says? An elephant? (K.Chukovskyi). This is the first time a person asks such a question to the caller, otherwise, together with the call, the smartphone obligingly displays the name of the subscriber on the screen. A smartphone has expelled phone books from our lives, both pocketbooks and thick reference books. Old family albums have moved to mezzanines, they were replaced by albums in the smartphone, which is also a camera. Nostalgia, a man turns to the photo of the past time in his phone, as it is very poetically the artist Timothy Smirnov showed in the works "Father's jacket", "Rain without cats and dogs".

"A woman's voice on the phone, - How many sweet harmonies in this voice without a body! (N.Gumilev). The voice is not necessary, our fingers are running on the touch screen, sending SMS-ki subscribers. For example, as it was represented by Timofey Smirnov in his works "Correspondence with the Star", "Dreams of the Handwasher", "SMS - the element". T. Smirnov: "Love lives in SMS, and passionate photos only awaken emotions that are much easier to express not by poems and songs, but in "emoticons" and "smileys". Popularity is expressed in "likes", and the smartphone collects and places them (work "likes").

"I wake up on the phone, shave, brush my teeth, hack, wash my face,... (I. Brodsky). The smartphone has almost everywhere replaced a person's watch, helping to cope with the time, which is convenient. However, at the same time, he eats time irrevocably - the work of "Crane-Screen", "Kuranty". We spin through life together with time ("The Wolf"), but always lag behind him, because every moment of our lives - it's already yesterday in time.

The third eye, which is so persistently looking for various esoterics, exists. This is a smartphone lens! Traveling, visiting exhibitions and museums, we essentially look at the world through this "third eye" and, without hoping for our memory, choose objects on the smartphone screen and then send them to our photo album (see, for example, "Three Zeros", "Moscow-Pergamsk Altar"). A smartphone, like a spy, allows you to sneak a glimpse into someone else's private life ("Private Life"), satisfying our curiosity and simultaneously narrowing our personal space.  The smartphone constantly informs its user on the screen about its condition (for example, it glitches or in the power saving mode) (see "Melody in percent", "Glitch is alive").  O.Mandelstam's phone: "The phone in the apartment cries - two minutes, three, four. Silenced and very angry: Oh, nobody came up. - So I'm not needed at all..."?

At the exhibition it is planned to present Timofey Smirnov's book "Photorealism in Russia. Watch and See", which received a grant from the Russian Science Foundation.
