In March, photographer Daria Sharova will present a solo exhibition dedicated to Tibet, one of the most secluded and mythologized spaces in the world. The project is the result of a three-week journey through Tibet and a route around Mount Kailash—a 56-kilometer trek at an altitude of over 5,700 meters. This experience formed the basis of a series of works that combine documentary precision with a subtle exploration of cultural memory, space, and human perception. The exhibition will feature original photographs taken with a Fujifilm XT-5, as well as artifacts brought back fr om Tibet—material evidence of its unique cultural layer. The texture of monastery walls, prayer flags as a visual symbol of time, mountain landscapes, and unexpected details of everyday life combine to create an atmospheric narrative of a place wh ere reality feels different.
Daria Sharova's exhibition is an immersive experience and a personal chronicle of an inner shift, an invitation to see Tibet not as an exotic destination, but as a rare lens through which to view the world. The opening promises to be one of the most notable artistic premieres of March.
