Parallel program for Arseniy Zhilyaev's exhibition "Return"

The character of Arseniy Zhilyaev's exhibition "Return" - artificial reason Robert Pasternak - will become a participant of the performative discussion "Demand full automation of art". It will be held at the Contemporary Art Center of Winzavod on February 3 at 19:30.

What role does artificial intelligence play in contemporary art? Will there be a transition to "automation of art", and will it be similar to the invention of photography, which radically transformed artistic practices? These and other futuristic scenarios will be discussed by the participants in the discussion. It is held in the framework of the Philosophical Club CIC Winzavod and a parallel program for the exhibition Arseny Zhilyaev "Return".

Participants in the performative discussion:

Robert Pasternak is a generative first-generation artist and archeologist, a graduate of the Department of Art and Science at Santa Fe College, Zuckerberg. His works are in various collections, including the MoMA department in Silicon Valley.

Arseniy Zhilyaev is an artist, author of the exhibition "Return" to the Contemporary Art Center Winzavod, a theoretician of contemporary art. His artistic interests include Soviet museology and the aesthetics of Russian cosmism.

Maxim Miroshnichenko is a philosopher, a graduate student of the Faculty of Humanities at the Higher School of Economics. His sphere of interest includes the philosophical problems of cognitive sciences and AI, the philosophy of technology and media, as well as studies of contemporary music; moderator of the discussion.
