NOISE: a platform for the experiment of skaters and artists
The green hangar of the Centre of modern art WINZAVOD will become an area for a special experiment of skaters and artists. Three participants: Snoom (Saint-Petersburg), Pavlik Kuznetsov (Moscow), Markel Andronov (Krasnoyarsk) will turn hangar into a special art-object and test the platform.
One-day transformation will open a series of projects, which directed to create a new skate-area in Moscow. According to the idea of curator of the project Leonid Lukin, the first performances will be the starting point for the community self-organization, which in future, following the principle of DIY, will choose the format and come up with the architecture of the space.

About a project
Winzavod began its existence in 2007 with the graffiti festival. From this moment, street culture is an integral part of the life of the art cluster. On the territory of Winzavod is located “The Wall” project, and around Winzavod the walls became a place of power for graffiti artists and street artists. In 2017, Winzavod initiated the creation of a skate-site on the territory of the art cluster. The project partner of the Federation of Skateboarding supported the idea of creating a new center for the development of a culture of skateboarding combined with modern art.
During the 2018-2019 season, from October to March, Winzavod will host meetings, discussions, film screenings and other activities to maintain interest in the future project and involve people in its creation. In April-May 2019, Winzavod will introduce a new space.
