The Fifth Forum of the new fashion industry BE IN OPEN will be held at the Winzavod fr om May 30 to June 1, 2019. This year, as part of the Forum, will be a business conference, wh ere more than 60 speakers will speak, and a professional exhibition of businesses and brands: the best contractors of the fashion industry and 70 modern designer brands will be represented here.

The forum is focused on the main players of the fashion market: designers, retailers, representatives of garment factories, industry media, specialists from related professions and students of specialized educational institutions. The main goal of the Forum is to contribute to the modernization of the fashion system in Russia and to establish sustainable links between all participants of the new ecosystem. For three days, at several sites, keynote speeches by iconic fashion industry experts, educational project workshops, an exhibition of fashion businesses and brands, as well as speed-dating with buyers, factory representatives and marketers will be held at the same time.

BE IN OPEN conference includes speeches and master classes by leading Russian and foreign players in the fashion industry, grouped into five areas: design, production, marketing, sales, and analytics. The binding theme of the conference this year will be the formation of a new fashion system. How to work in a new unstable reality? How does the fragmentation of cultures and the virtualization of the world affect the processes in modern fashion? People havat or romantic entrepreneurship: how to find a balance? How did interdisciplinary collaboration become a sales tool? Do Big data technologies work in Russian fashion? Within the framework of the Conference, business community participants and designers will share relevant case studies and talk about successful strategies for developing modern business in the fashion industry. The conference’s speakers each year are representatives of Russian and international companies, among them Première Vision, Dazed, Adidas, Lamoda, Pantone, Galeries Lafayette, Rare Market, Vestoj, Aizel, The Broken Arm, LEVI`S Russia, Dear Progress, Color, Rusmoda, Topshop, Section, Central Department Store, Le New Black, ZDDZ, JLL, DHL, Buro 24/7, Trendsquire, Yandex, Lumpen and many others.

The exhibition of fashion businesses and brands will bring together all the participants in fashion production: suppliers of fabrics and accessories, garment enterprises, companies engaged in electronic payments, and logistics; site designers, smm-agencies, stylists, photographers. The exhibition will also include speed-dating - a series of short meetings with specialists and companies, during which participants will be able to get acquainted with possible partners. Meetings will be useful for brands with small volumes of production, as well as for larger players.

Part of the exhibition space this year will be a showroom of Russian brands: we will sel ect 70 brands with a strong visual concept, to acquaint them with Russian and foreign buyers and to help organize sales in the world's best concept stores and local retail spaces. Among the participants of the showroom in 2018 are: Inshade, ZDDZ, Crime and Punishment, Rosbalet, Tattoosweaters, ТЗСМ, Affex, ZIQ & YONI, VOLCHOK, Sputnik 1985 and others. According to the results of the showroom as part of the BE IN OPEN Forum, for two years now, the showrooms of Russian designers in Paris have been held every season. Today, collections of designers participating in the BE IN OPEN showroom are sold in 50 stores around the world (Selfridges, SSENSE, Harvey Nichols, VFiles, Le Bon Marché, KaDeWe, Rare Market, etc.).

Within the framework of the Forum’s parallel program, will be Film Festival BE IN OPEN FILMS. It will be held in twenty cities of Russia and the world. The program includes films about fashion and modern visual aesthetics, selected according to the results of the competition.
