Margo Trushina
Oxytocin

16+
The Oxytocin project addresses the rethinking of man's place in the environment fr om the perspective of environmental discourse and post-humanist philosophy. The author of the works, artist Margot Trushina, explores the interrelations and invisible flows that connect all human and non-human "bodies" on Earth into one planetary organism. Appealing to the philosophy of post-humanism, the ideas of Donna Harroway and Rosie Bridotti about the equality of Man, Nature and Society as three jointly evolving entities, as well as developing Timothy Morton's thesis about "ecology without nature" and the world, wh ere living and non-living objects are intertwined in social, political and sensual relations, Margot Trushina creates her own space in which she invites the viewer to reflect on both human "nature" and our relationship to "nature".
